PARAGON-eduTech: Transforming Education Through Innovation

PARAGON-eduTech is a nonprofit civil organisation dedicated to advancing education through innovative technologies and inclusive, evidence-informed practices. Established in 2022, the organisation collaborates with educators, researchers, and institutions across Europe to co-develop future-oriented learning solutions that address contemporary educational challenges.

Digital Education and E-Learning

We examine the role of digital technologies in curriculum design, pedagogy, and online learning, promoting effective and research-informed practices in digital education.

Artificial Intelligence in Education

We explore the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to support personalised learning, enhance educational processes, and inform data-driven decision-making.

Blended and Hybrid Learning

We design and support flexible learning models that integrate face-to-face and online approaches, fostering inclusive and engaging educational environments.

Flagship Event: ICICTE

PARAGON-eduTech hosts the International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies in Education (ICICTE), an established international forum for academics, researchers, and educators. Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2025, ICICTE promotes scholarly exchange and collaboration within a global network of over 2,500 members.

PARAGON-eduTech’s work is supported by a dedicated team of 12 staff members, complemented by an advisory board of 40 experts and a dissemination committee of 25 members. Together, they contribute to the organisation’s mission by advancing research, collaboration, and practice in educational technology and inclusive learning.

Anastasia (Nancy) Pyrini

Founder and Director of Research and Development

Anastasia (Nancy) Pyrini is the founder of PARAGON-eduTech and leads its strategic development and research activities. She brings over 30 years of experience in primary education, with a sustained focus on inclusive, innovative, and technology-enhanced learning environments.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education, a Master’s degree in Cognitive Science, and a certification in Research Integrity from Oxford University Press. Her professional experience as a primary school teacher continues to inform her work in educational research and European project development.

She has contributed extensively to educational innovation and European cooperation projects, with a particular focus on digital transformation, inclusive pedagogical design, and the integration of emerging technologies in education.

She is also the Founder and Director of the International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies in Education (ICICTE), an annual international forum that brings together educators, researchers, and practitioners to explore developments in educational technology.
