Summary
The OREO project aims to support the academic community in understanding the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and data use in education, while also raising awareness of the potential risks involved. The project promotes innovation and experimentation in the field of educational AI, creating an online learning community that extends beyond the project’s duration. This community will serve as a platform for monitoring and discussing the developments in AI’s educational applications. The project includes the development of a comprehensive course design, teaching units, and a unique board game that allows participants to engage with the concepts of AI in education. Additionally, a training program for educators will be implemented to equip them with the necessary skills to leverage AI tools effectively in their teaching. The eLearning platform will serve as a hub for knowledge co-creation and foster networking between academic communities and external stakeholders. Through its activities, OREO aims to create a long-lasting network of educators and experts focused on the evolving role of AI in education.
